Medication

  • Do not take birth control pills, hormones, vitamin E, or aspirin for 1 week before surgery.
Medical History

  • If you are under treatment for high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, or thyroid, please inform the hospital in advance.
  • If you have a severe cold or have abnormal airways and respiratory tract on the day of surgery, please inform us in advance.
Meal

  • Refrain from eating and drinking, including water, 8 hours before surgery.
Smoking and Drinking

  • Please refrain from smoking and drinking alcohol for 3 days before surgery.
Clothes

  • Bring comfortable clothes (Southern, boxy clothes), mask, scarf, hat, sunglasses, etc.
Other

  • On the day of surgery, please remove contact lenses, precious metals, accessories, nail polish, and makeup in advance.
  • It is difficult to drive after surgery, so it is recommended that you come with a guardian.
Swelling

  • The degree of swelling can be different and varies from person to person.
  • After surgery, there is large swelling for 1 to 2 weeks, and the remaining swelling gradually decreases within 1 to 6 months.
  • After surgery, the area around the breasts may be swollen, which may make the breasts appear smaller or spread out. (Gradually, the swelling will go down and you will have a beautiful breast shape.)
Pain

  • Chest pain tends to be greatest for one to two days after surgery.
  • Pain and throbbing may accompany 6 months to 1 year after surgery.
Medication

  • Spheroidal contractile drugs are scheduled to be taken for up to 3 months, and please inform us in advance when you visit the hospital before you finish taking them.
  • If you experience chest palpitations or acne on your body after taking it, stop taking it immediately. (Do not take if you have arrhythmia)
  • Hormonal changes can cause irregular periods.
  • Avoid aspirin/vitamin E type drugs for 1 week after surgery.
Meal

  • You can eat food 6 hours after surgery, and it is recommended to eat soft rice or porridge.
Sleeping Position

  • Keep your head elevated above your heart and maintain a frontal position.
  • Lying on the side is possible after 1 to 2 months, and bowing or lying down is possible after at least 5 months.
No smoking/No alcohol/Sauna/Exercise

  • Alcohol and smoking are prohibited for up to 6 months after surgery.
  • Jjimjilbang, sauna, swimming pool Excessive exercise and massage are possible after about 1 to 2 months.
Maintenance

  • Swelling can be prevented with cold compresses for 3 days after surgery and then warm compresses after that.
Prohibited Action

  • Refrain from lifting heavy objects or using your arms excessively.
Emergencies

  • In the event of an emergency such as extreme pain or severe swelling, please contact the hospital immediately and visit us.
