Facial Asymmetry Surgery Method
An appropriate treatment method is applied by synthesizing symptoms such as the shape of the individual’s jawbone and teeth occlusion.
If you know the central axis of the face and the occlusion of the teeth, you can predict the approximate treatment method.
** The exact treatment plan can be known after a diagnosis by specialist doctor.

Facial Asymmetry FAQ
Do I need to straighten my teeth during double jaw surgery?
When occlusion is normal, in case of lantern jaw or facial asymmetry, braces will not be necessary. However at most of double jaw cases, teeth braces is needed to fix the bite alignment after surgery. Thus, braces will be necessary after surgery and sometime also before surgery.
Is double jaw surgery painful?
Although people are usually concerned about the pain of cutting the bone, most of the pain comes from the process of removing and exfoliating the mucous membrane of the mouth. After surgery, painkiller injections and analgesics will relieve the pain, so you don’t have to worry too much about the pain.
